Job summary

About the role

This is a fully remote accounting role you can do from home in Bahrain (candidates near Manama preferred). This is a structured internship designed to give students and recent graduates supervised, hands-on experience. You will be given written processes, short training sessions and a direct point of contact for questions.

Responsibilities

  • Chase overdue payments politely and log responses
  • Reconcile bank statements at the end of each month
  • Match supplier bills to purchase orders and receipts
  • Prepare and send customer invoices on schedule
  • Maintain organised digital records for audit purposes
  • Assist with VAT filing preparation where applicable

Requirements

  • Ability to meet monthly closing deadlines
  • Reliable internet and personal computer
  • High accuracy with numbers
  • Accounting fundamentals from study or short courses
  • Currently studying or graduated within the last two years

Preferred skills

  • Understanding of GCC VAT rules
  • Arabic language skills
  • Experience with QuickBooks, Xero, Zoho Books or SAP

Eligibility
