Job summary

About the role

This is a fully remote accounting role you can do from home in any GCC country (Saudi Arabia, UAE, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain or Oman). Suitable for candidates with up to one year of experience, including internships, freelance work or part-time roles. The team communicates asynchronously most of the day, with one short live catch-up to unblock work.

Responsibilities

  • Chase overdue payments politely and log responses
  • Match supplier bills to purchase orders and receipts
  • Maintain organised digital records for audit purposes
  • Track petty cash and expense claims
  • Flag unusual entries to the finance lead
  • Prepare and send customer invoices on schedule

Requirements

  • Ability to meet monthly closing deadlines
  • Reliable internet and personal computer
  • Comfortable with Excel formulas and pivot basics
  • High accuracy with numbers

Preferred skills

  • Arabic language skills
  • Understanding of GCC VAT rules
  • Experience with QuickBooks, Xero, Zoho Books or SAP
  • Accounting or finance degree

Eligibility
