Job summary

About the role

This is a fully remote accounting role you can do from home in Saudi Arabia (candidates near Riyadh preferred). We welcome fresh graduates who finished their studies recently and want a first professional role they can grow in. The team communicates asynchronously most of the day, with one short live catch-up to unblock work.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain organised digital records for audit purposes
  • Flag unusual entries to the finance lead
  • Reconcile bank statements at the end of each month
  • Assist with VAT filing preparation where applicable
  • Support the preparation of monthly financial summaries
  • Track petty cash and expense claims
  • Chase overdue payments politely and log responses

Requirements

  • Accounting fundamentals from study or short courses
  • Comfortable with Excel formulas and pivot basics
  • High accuracy with numbers
  • Ability to meet monthly closing deadlines

Preferred skills

  • Experience with QuickBooks, Xero, Zoho Books or SAP
  • Understanding of GCC VAT rules
  • Arabic language skills
  • Accounting or finance degree

Eligibility
