Job summary

About the role

A work-from-home accounting opportunity for people living in Bahrain (candidates near Muharraq preferred). This is a structured internship designed to give students and recent graduates supervised, hands-on experience. You will be given written processes, short training sessions and a direct point of contact for questions.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and send customer invoices on schedule
  • Track petty cash and expense claims
  • Match supplier bills to purchase orders and receipts
  • Assist with VAT filing preparation where applicable
  • Maintain organised digital records for audit purposes

Requirements

  • Ability to meet monthly closing deadlines
  • Comfortable with Excel formulas and pivot basics
  • Accounting fundamentals from study or short courses
  • Reliable internet and personal computer
  • High accuracy with numbers
  • Currently studying or graduated within the last two years

Preferred skills

  • Arabic language skills
  • Understanding of GCC VAT rules
  • Experience with QuickBooks, Xero, Zoho Books or SAP
