Job summary

About the role

We are hiring for a remote accounting position based in United Arab Emirates (candidates near Dubai preferred). A junior-level position for someone who has covered the basics and now wants to build depth and ownership. You will be given written processes, short training sessions and a direct point of contact for questions.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and send customer invoices on schedule
  • Assist with VAT filing preparation where applicable
  • Support the preparation of monthly financial summaries
  • Chase overdue payments politely and log responses
  • Maintain organised digital records for audit purposes

Requirements

  • Reliable internet and personal computer
  • Comfortable with Excel formulas and pivot basics
  • Accounting fundamentals from study or short courses
  • Ability to meet monthly closing deadlines

Preferred skills

  • Experience with QuickBooks, Xero, Zoho Books or SAP
  • Accounting or finance degree
  • Understanding of GCC VAT rules
