Job summary

About the role

A work-from-home accounting opportunity for people living in Kuwait (candidates near Kuwait City preferred). A junior-level position for someone who has covered the basics and now wants to build depth and ownership. You will be given written processes, short training sessions and a direct point of contact for questions.

Responsibilities

  • Match supplier bills to purchase orders and receipts
  • Track petty cash and expense claims
  • Support the preparation of monthly financial summaries
  • Chase overdue payments politely and log responses
  • Assist with VAT filing preparation where applicable
  • Reconcile bank statements at the end of each month

Requirements

  • Accounting fundamentals from study or short courses
  • Comfortable with Excel formulas and pivot basics
  • Ability to meet monthly closing deadlines
  • High accuracy with numbers
  • Reliable internet and personal computer

Preferred skills

  • Accounting or finance degree
  • Experience with QuickBooks, Xero, Zoho Books or SAP
  • Understanding of GCC VAT rules
