Job summary

About the role

A work-from-home accounting opportunity for people living in Saudi Arabia (candidates near Mecca preferred). A junior-level position for someone who has covered the basics and now wants to build depth and ownership. You will be given written processes, short training sessions and a direct point of contact for questions.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain organised digital records for audit purposes
  • Assist with VAT filing preparation where applicable
  • Match supplier bills to purchase orders and receipts
  • Prepare and send customer invoices on schedule
  • Reconcile bank statements at the end of each month
  • Record daily transactions in the accounting system

Requirements

  • Ability to meet monthly closing deadlines
  • Accounting fundamentals from study or short courses
  • Comfortable with Excel formulas and pivot basics
  • Reliable internet and personal computer

Preferred skills

  • Accounting or finance degree
  • Arabic language skills
  • Experience with QuickBooks, Xero, Zoho Books or SAP
  • Understanding of GCC VAT rules
