About the role

This remote accounting vacancy is open to candidates in Qatar (candidates near Al Rayyan preferred). We welcome fresh graduates who finished their studies recently and want a first professional role they can grow in. Responsibilities

  • Track petty cash and expense claims
  • Assist with VAT filing preparation where applicable
  • Flag unusual entries to the finance lead
  • Match supplier bills to purchase orders and receipts
  • Reconcile bank statements at the end of each month
  • Chase overdue payments politely and log responses
  • Maintain organised digital records for audit purposes

Requirements

  • High accuracy with numbers
  • Comfortable with Excel formulas and pivot basics
  • Accounting fundamentals from study or short courses
  • Reliable internet and personal computer
  • Ability to meet monthly closing deadlines

Preferred skills

  • Accounting or finance degree
  • Experience with QuickBooks, Xero, Zoho Books or SAP
  • Understanding of GCC VAT rules
