Job summary

About the role

A work-from-home accounting opportunity for people living in Saudi Arabia (candidates near Khobar preferred). Suitable for candidates with up to one year of experience, including internships, freelance work or part-time roles. The team communicates asynchronously most of the day, with one short live catch-up to unblock work.

Responsibilities

  • Match supplier bills to purchase orders and receipts
  • Track petty cash and expense claims
  • Reconcile bank statements at the end of each month
  • Maintain organised digital records for audit purposes
  • Prepare and send customer invoices on schedule
  • Support the preparation of monthly financial summaries
  • Assist with VAT filing preparation where applicable

Requirements

  • Reliable internet and personal computer
  • Comfortable with Excel formulas and pivot basics
  • High accuracy with numbers
  • Ability to meet monthly closing deadlines
  • Accounting fundamentals from study or short courses

Preferred skills

  • Experience with QuickBooks, Xero, Zoho Books or SAP
  • Understanding of GCC VAT rules
  • Arabic language skills
  • Accounting or finance degree
