Job summary

About the role

A work-from-home accounting opportunity for people living in Kuwait (candidates near Farwaniya preferred). This is a structured internship designed to give students and recent graduates supervised, hands-on experience. Expect a predictable weekly rhythm: focused task blocks, a short team sync and a simple end-of-week summary.

Responsibilities

  • Match supplier bills to purchase orders and receipts
  • Assist with VAT filing preparation where applicable
  • Support the preparation of monthly financial summaries
  • Chase overdue payments politely and log responses
  • Record daily transactions in the accounting system

Requirements

  • Ability to meet monthly closing deadlines
  • Accounting fundamentals from study or short courses
  • Comfortable with Excel formulas and pivot basics
  • High accuracy with numbers
  • Reliable internet and personal computer
  • Currently studying or graduated within the last two years

Preferred skills

  • Experience with QuickBooks, Xero, Zoho Books or SAP
  • Understanding of GCC VAT rules
  • Accounting or finance degree
