Job summary

About the role

A work-from-home accounting opportunity for people living in Oman. This is a structured internship designed to give students and recent graduates supervised, hands-on experience. You will be given written processes, short training sessions and a direct point of contact for questions.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and send customer invoices on schedule
  • Track petty cash and expense claims
  • Record daily transactions in the accounting system
  • Match supplier bills to purchase orders and receipts
  • Support the preparation of monthly financial summaries
  • Reconcile bank statements at the end of each month

Requirements

  • High accuracy with numbers
  • Reliable internet and personal computer
  • Accounting fundamentals from study or short courses
  • Ability to meet monthly closing deadlines
  • Currently studying or graduated within the last two years

Preferred skills

  • Experience with QuickBooks, Xero, Zoho Books or SAP
  • Understanding of GCC VAT rules
  • Accounting or finance degree
