Job summary

About the role

This remote accounting vacancy is open to candidates in United Arab Emirates. A junior-level position for someone who has covered the basics and now wants to build depth and ownership. You will be given written processes, short training sessions and a direct point of contact for questions.

Responsibilities

  • Chase overdue payments politely and log responses
  • Support the preparation of monthly financial summaries
  • Maintain organised digital records for audit purposes
  • Flag unusual entries to the finance lead
  • Prepare and send customer invoices on schedule

Requirements

  • Ability to meet monthly closing deadlines
  • Comfortable with Excel formulas and pivot basics
  • Accounting fundamentals from study or short courses
  • Reliable internet and personal computer

Preferred skills

  • Understanding of GCC VAT rules
  • Arabic language skills
  • Experience with QuickBooks, Xero, Zoho Books or SAP
  • Accounting or finance degree
