QA Assistant – Remote – Junior Level | Sohar, Oman

We are hiring for a remote quality assurance position based in Oman (candidates near Sohar preferred). A junior-level position for someone who has covered the basics and now wants to build depth and ownership. You will be given written processes, short training sessions and a direct point of contact for questions.

• Support release checklists and sign-off notes
• Maintain the test case library as features change
• Suggest usability improvements you notice while testing
• Execute manual test cases across web and mobile builds
• Re-test fixes and confirm they work across browsers and devices
• Check content, links and forms before releases
• Write clear bug reports with steps, screenshots and expected results

• Interest in software quality as a career path
• Methodical, detail-focused working style
• Ability to describe problems precisely in writing
• Comfortable using multiple browsers and devices

• Basic SQL or API testing exposure
• ISTQB Foundation study
• Experience with Jira, TestRail or similar
• Awareness of RTL layout testing
