Job summary

About the role

This remote accounting vacancy is open to candidates in Qatar (candidates near Al Wakrah preferred). A junior-level position for someone who has covered the basics and now wants to build depth and ownership. Day to day you will work inside a small, supportive team with clear priorities and weekly check-ins.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and send customer invoices on schedule
  • Assist with VAT filing preparation where applicable
  • Maintain organised digital records for audit purposes
  • Reconcile bank statements at the end of each month
  • Match supplier bills to purchase orders and receipts

Requirements

  • Ability to meet monthly closing deadlines
  • Accounting fundamentals from study or short courses
  • Comfortable with Excel formulas and pivot basics
  • High accuracy with numbers
  • Reliable internet and personal computer

Preferred skills

  • Arabic language skills
  • Understanding of GCC VAT rules
  • Accounting or finance degree
