Remote App Testing Assistant – 0–1 Years | Sohar, Oman

We are hiring for a remote quality assurance position based in Oman (candidates near Sohar preferred). Suitable for candidates with up to one year of experience, including internships, freelance work or part-time roles. You will be given written processes, short training sessions and a direct point of contact for questions.

• Re-test fixes and confirm they work across browsers and devices
• Track defect status until closure
• Write clear bug reports with steps, screenshots and expected results
• Execute manual test cases across web and mobile builds
• Maintain the test case library as features change

• Comfortable using multiple browsers and devices
• Ability to describe problems precisely in writing
• Methodical, detail-focused working style
• Interest in software quality as a career path

• Basic SQL or API testing exposure
• ISTQB Foundation study
• Experience with Jira, TestRail or similar
• Awareness of RTL layout testing
