Job summary

About the role

A work-from-home accounting opportunity for people living in Kuwait (candidates near Kuwait City preferred). This is a structured internship designed to give students and recent graduates supervised, hands-on experience. You will be given written processes, short training sessions and a direct point of contact for questions.

Responsibilities

  • Track petty cash and expense claims
  • Chase overdue payments politely and log responses
  • Maintain organised digital records for audit purposes
  • Match supplier bills to purchase orders and receipts
  • Record daily transactions in the accounting system
  • Flag unusual entries to the finance lead

Requirements

  • Ability to meet monthly closing deadlines
  • Comfortable with Excel formulas and pivot basics
  • High accuracy with numbers
  • Accounting fundamentals from study or short courses
  • Reliable internet and personal computer
  • Currently studying or graduated within the last two years

Preferred skills

  • Understanding of GCC VAT rules
  • Accounting or finance degree
  • Experience with QuickBooks, Xero, Zoho Books or SAP
  • Arabic language skills
