Job summary

About the role

This is a fully remote data entry role you can do from home in Oman (candidates near Muscat preferred). A junior-level position for someone who has covered the basics and now wants to build depth and ownership. The team communicates asynchronously most of the day, with one short live catch-up to unblock work.

Responsibilities

  • Follow data-protection rules when handling personal or financial information
  • Convert PDF and scanned material into editable, searchable formats
  • Maintain daily entry logs and report completed volumes to your team lead
  • Cross-check submitted data against source files and flag mismatches
  • Support monthly data audits by pulling requested records on request
  • Scan and file digital documents using the agreed naming convention
  • Clean duplicated or incomplete records so reporting stays reliable

Requirements

  • Reliable home internet connection and a personal laptop or desktop
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets
  • Willingness to learn internal data tools during onboarding
  • Basic English reading and writing skills
  • Strong attention to detail and patience with repetitive tasks
  • Ability to follow written instructions without close supervision

Preferred skills

  • Familiarity with Google Workspace
  • Basic knowledge of data validation formulas
  • Comfort using shared drives and cloud folders
  • Experience with any CRM or ERP data screens
