Job summary

About the role

This is a fully remote accounting role you can do from home in Bahrain (candidates near Isa Town preferred). This is a structured internship designed to give students and recent graduates supervised, hands-on experience. Day to day you will work inside a small, supportive team with clear priorities and weekly check-ins.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain organised digital records for audit purposes
  • Assist with VAT filing preparation where applicable
  • Track petty cash and expense claims
  • Chase overdue payments politely and log responses
  • Record daily transactions in the accounting system

Requirements

  • Accounting fundamentals from study or short courses
  • Reliable internet and personal computer
  • Ability to meet monthly closing deadlines
  • Comfortable with Excel formulas and pivot basics
  • Currently studying or graduated within the last two years

Preferred skills

  • Understanding of GCC VAT rules
  • Arabic language skills
  • Experience with QuickBooks, Xero, Zoho Books or SAP
