Job summary

About the role

A work-from-home accounting opportunity for people living in Oman (candidates near Sohar preferred). This is a structured internship designed to give students and recent graduates supervised, hands-on experience. Day to day you will work inside a small, supportive team with clear priorities and weekly check-ins.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and send customer invoices on schedule
  • Maintain organised digital records for audit purposes
  • Match supplier bills to purchase orders and receipts
  • Record daily transactions in the accounting system
  • Flag unusual entries to the finance lead
  • Reconcile bank statements at the end of each month

Requirements

  • Accounting fundamentals from study or short courses
  • High accuracy with numbers
  • Reliable internet and personal computer
  • Ability to meet monthly closing deadlines
  • Currently studying or graduated within the last two years

Preferred skills

  • Experience with QuickBooks, Xero, Zoho Books or SAP
  • Understanding of GCC VAT rules
  • Arabic language skills
