Remote Functional Tester – 0–1 Years | Muscat, Oman

A work-from-home quality assurance opportunity for people living in Oman (candidates near Muscat preferred). Suitable for candidates with up to one year of experience, including internships, freelance work or part-time roles. The team communicates asynchronously most of the day, with one short live catch-up to unblock work.

• Track defect status until closure
• Verify Arabic and English interfaces display correctly
• Support release checklists and sign-off notes
• Maintain the test case library as features change
• Participate in short daily stand-ups with the product team
• Write clear bug reports with steps, screenshots and expected results
• Check content, links and forms before releases

• Interest in software quality as a career path
• Ability to describe problems precisely in writing
• Methodical, detail-focused working style
• Comfortable using multiple browsers and devices

• Basic SQL or API testing exposure
• Awareness of RTL layout testing
• ISTQB Foundation study
• Experience with Jira, TestRail or similar
