Job summary

About the role

This is a fully remote accounting role you can do from home in any GCC country (Saudi Arabia, UAE, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain or Oman). A junior-level position for someone who has covered the basics and now wants to build depth and ownership. Day to day you will work inside a small, supportive team with clear priorities and weekly check-ins.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain organised digital records for audit purposes
  • Flag unusual entries to the finance lead
  • Record daily transactions in the accounting system
  • Match supplier bills to purchase orders and receipts
  • Prepare and send customer invoices on schedule
  • Chase overdue payments politely and log responses

Requirements

  • Comfortable with Excel formulas and pivot basics
  • Accounting fundamentals from study or short courses
  • Ability to meet monthly closing deadlines
  • Reliable internet and personal computer
  • High accuracy with numbers

Preferred skills

  • Understanding of GCC VAT rules
  • Arabic language skills
  • Experience with QuickBooks, Xero, Zoho Books or SAP
  • Accounting or finance degree
