Job summary

About the role

A work-from-home quality assurance opportunity for people living in Oman (candidates near Salalah preferred). A junior-level position for someone who has covered the basics and now wants to build depth and ownership. You will be given written processes, short training sessions and a direct point of contact for questions.

Responsibilities

  • Re-test fixes and confirm they work across browsers and devices
  • Check content, links and forms before releases
  • Verify Arabic and English interfaces display correctly
  • Track defect status until closure
  • Execute manual test cases across web and mobile builds
  • Support release checklists and sign-off notes
  • Maintain the test case library as features change

Requirements

  • Ability to describe problems precisely in writing
  • Comfortable using multiple browsers and devices
  • Interest in software quality as a career path
  • Methodical, detail-focused working style

Preferred skills

  • Experience with Jira, TestRail or similar
  • Basic SQL or API testing exposure
  • Awareness of RTL layout testing
  • ISTQB Foundation study
