Job summary

About the role

We are hiring for a remote quality assurance position based in Oman (candidates near Salalah preferred). A junior-level position for someone who has covered the basics and now wants to build depth and ownership. Expect a predictable weekly rhythm: focused task blocks, a short team sync and a simple end-of-week summary.

Responsibilities

  • Write clear bug reports with steps, screenshots and expected results
  • Support release checklists and sign-off notes
  • Re-test fixes and confirm they work across browsers and devices
  • Check content, links and forms before releases
  • Participate in short daily stand-ups with the product team

Requirements

  • Comfortable using multiple browsers and devices
  • Methodical, detail-focused working style
  • Ability to describe problems precisely in writing
  • Interest in software quality as a career path

Preferred skills

  • ISTQB Foundation study
  • Awareness of RTL layout testing
  • Experience with Jira, TestRail or similar
