Job summary

About the role

This remote accounting vacancy is open to candidates in any GCC country (Saudi Arabia, UAE, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain or Oman). We welcome fresh graduates who finished their studies recently and want a first professional role they can grow in. You will be given written processes, short training sessions and a direct point of contact for questions.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and send customer invoices on schedule
  • Maintain organised digital records for audit purposes
  • Match supplier bills to purchase orders and receipts
  • Record daily transactions in the accounting system
  • Reconcile bank statements at the end of each month
  • Flag unusual entries to the finance lead
  • Chase overdue payments politely and log responses

Requirements

  • Ability to meet monthly closing deadlines
  • High accuracy with numbers
  • Accounting fundamentals from study or short courses
  • Reliable internet and personal computer
  • Comfortable with Excel formulas and pivot basics

Preferred skills

  • Accounting or finance degree
  • Understanding of GCC VAT rules
  • Experience with QuickBooks, Xero, Zoho Books or SAP
