Job summary

About the role

We are hiring for a remote accounting position based in Kuwait (candidates near Hawalli preferred). We welcome fresh graduates who finished their studies recently and want a first professional role they can grow in. Expect a predictable weekly rhythm: focused task blocks, a short team sync and a simple end-of-week summary.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain organised digital records for audit purposes
  • Support the preparation of monthly financial summaries
  • Record daily transactions in the accounting system
  • Track petty cash and expense claims
  • Flag unusual entries to the finance lead
  • Assist with VAT filing preparation where applicable

Requirements

  • Reliable internet and personal computer
  • High accuracy with numbers
  • Ability to meet monthly closing deadlines
  • Comfortable with Excel formulas and pivot basics
  • Accounting fundamentals from study or short courses

Preferred skills

  • Understanding of GCC VAT rules
  • Experience with QuickBooks, Xero, Zoho Books or SAP
  • Accounting or finance degree

Eligibility
