About the role

A work-from-home accounting opportunity for people living in United Arab Emirates (candidates near Sharjah preferred). We welcome fresh graduates who finished their studies recently and want a first professional role they can grow in. Expect a predictable weekly rhythm: focused task blocks, a short team sync and a simple end-of-week summary.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and send customer invoices on schedule
  • Support the preparation of monthly financial summaries
  • Assist with VAT filing preparation where applicable
  • Match supplier bills to purchase orders and receipts
  • Maintain organised digital records for audit purposes
  • Flag unusual entries to the finance lead
  • Reconcile bank statements at the end of each month

Requirements

  • Comfortable with Excel formulas and pivot basics
  • High accuracy with numbers
  • Accounting fundamentals from study or short courses
  • Reliable internet and personal computer
  • Ability to meet monthly closing deadlines

Preferred skills

  • Understanding of GCC VAT rules
  • Experience with QuickBooks, Xero, Zoho Books or SAP
  • Accounting or finance degree
  • Arabic language skills
