Job summary

About the role

This remote accounting vacancy is open to candidates in any GCC country (Saudi Arabia, UAE, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain or Oman). This is a structured internship designed to give students and recent graduates supervised, hands-on experience. Day to day you will work inside a small, supportive team with clear priorities and weekly check-ins.

Responsibilities

  • Support the preparation of monthly financial summaries
  • Match supplier bills to purchase orders and receipts
  • Chase overdue payments politely and log responses
  • Reconcile bank statements at the end of each month
  • Flag unusual entries to the finance lead

Requirements

  • Ability to meet monthly closing deadlines
  • Comfortable with Excel formulas and pivot basics
  • Accounting fundamentals from study or short courses
  • Reliable internet and personal computer
  • High accuracy with numbers
  • Currently studying or graduated within the last two years

Preferred skills

  • Experience with QuickBooks, Xero, Zoho Books or SAP
  • Accounting or finance degree
  • Understanding of GCC VAT rules
  • Arabic language skills
