Job summary

About the role

This is a fully remote accounting role you can do from home in Oman. A junior-level position for someone who has covered the basics and now wants to build depth and ownership. You will be given written processes, short training sessions and a direct point of contact for questions.

Responsibilities

  • Flag unusual entries to the finance lead
  • Prepare and send customer invoices on schedule
  • Assist with VAT filing preparation where applicable
  • Record daily transactions in the accounting system
  • Match supplier bills to purchase orders and receipts

Requirements

  • High accuracy with numbers
  • Ability to meet monthly closing deadlines
  • Accounting fundamentals from study or short courses
  • Reliable internet and personal computer

Preferred skills

  • Arabic language skills
  • Experience with QuickBooks, Xero, Zoho Books or SAP
  • Accounting or finance degree
