Job summary

About the role

We are hiring for a remote online tutoring position based in Oman (candidates near Muscat preferred). This role is open to candidates with no previous work experience — full training is provided from day one. The team communicates asynchronously most of the day, with one short live catch-up to unblock work.

Responsibilities

  • Set short exercises and give constructive feedback
  • Maintain punctual attendance for every booked session
  • Record attendance and session notes
  • Adjust pace when a student struggles with a concept
  • Follow safeguarding and communication guidelines
  • Track learner progress and share simple reports with parents
  • Prepare lesson material suited to each learner's level

Requirements

  • Clear speaking voice and patient teaching style
  • Comfortable using Zoom, Google Meet or Teams
  • Quiet space, webcam and stable internet
  • Strong subject knowledge in your chosen area

Preferred skills

  • Bilingual Arabic and English delivery
  • Experience with digital whiteboards
  • Teaching or tutoring experience, including volunteering
  • Familiarity with GCC or IB/IGCSE curricula

Eligibility
