About the role

This remote online tutoring vacancy is open to candidates in Oman (candidates near Muscat preferred). Suitable for candidates with up to one year of experience, including internships, freelance work or part-time roles. Expect a predictable weekly rhythm: focused task blocks, a short team sync and a simple end-of-week summary.

Responsibilities

  • Track learner progress and share simple reports with parents
  • Record attendance and session notes
  • Prepare lesson material suited to each learner's level
  • Adjust pace when a student struggles with a concept
  • Maintain punctual attendance for every booked session
  • Keep sessions engaging with interactive tools and examples
  • Follow safeguarding and communication guidelines

Requirements

  • Quiet space, webcam and stable internet
  • Clear speaking voice and patient teaching style
  • Strong subject knowledge in your chosen area
  • Comfortable using Zoom, Google Meet or Teams

Preferred skills

  • Familiarity with GCC or IB/IGCSE curricula
  • Teaching or tutoring experience, including volunteering
  • Bilingual Arabic and English delivery
  • Experience with digital whiteboards
