Job summary

About the role

This remote online tutoring vacancy is open to candidates in Oman. A junior-level position for someone who has covered the basics and now wants to build depth and ownership. Day to day you will work inside a small, supportive team with clear priorities and weekly check-ins.

Responsibilities

  • Adjust pace when a student struggles with a concept
  • Record attendance and session notes
  • Follow safeguarding and communication guidelines
  • Set short exercises and give constructive feedback
  • Recommend extra practice resources
  • Track learner progress and share simple reports with parents
  • Prepare lesson material suited to each learner's level

Requirements

  • Comfortable using Zoom, Google Meet or Teams
  • Quiet space, webcam and stable internet
  • Strong subject knowledge in your chosen area
  • Clear speaking voice and patient teaching style

Preferred skills

  • Teaching or tutoring experience, including volunteering
  • Bilingual Arabic and English delivery
  • Experience with digital whiteboards
