Job summary

About the role

This remote online tutoring vacancy is open to candidates in Oman (candidates near Salalah preferred). Suitable for candidates with up to one year of experience, including internships, freelance work or part-time roles. The team communicates asynchronously most of the day, with one short live catch-up to unblock work.

Responsibilities

  • Recommend extra practice resources
  • Prepare lesson material suited to each learner's level
  • Deliver one-to-one and small group lessons over video
  • Record attendance and session notes
  • Maintain punctual attendance for every booked session
  • Follow safeguarding and communication guidelines

Requirements

  • Quiet space, webcam and stable internet
  • Comfortable using Zoom, Google Meet or Teams
  • Strong subject knowledge in your chosen area
  • Clear speaking voice and patient teaching style

Preferred skills

  • Teaching or tutoring experience, including volunteering
  • Bilingual Arabic and English delivery
  • Familiarity with GCC or IB/IGCSE curricula
