Job summary

About the role

We are hiring for a remote online tutoring position based in Kuwait (candidates near Hawalli preferred). A junior-level position for someone who has covered the basics and now wants to build depth and ownership. The team communicates asynchronously most of the day, with one short live catch-up to unblock work.

Responsibilities

  • Set short exercises and give constructive feedback
  • Keep sessions engaging with interactive tools and examples
  • Maintain punctual attendance for every booked session
  • Follow safeguarding and communication guidelines
  • Adjust pace when a student struggles with a concept
  • Prepare lesson material suited to each learner's level
  • Track learner progress and share simple reports with parents

Requirements

  • Strong subject knowledge in your chosen area
  • Comfortable using Zoom, Google Meet or Teams
  • Clear speaking voice and patient teaching style
  • Quiet space, webcam and stable internet

Preferred skills

  • Teaching or tutoring experience, including volunteering
  • Bilingual Arabic and English delivery
  • Experience with digital whiteboards
  • Familiarity with GCC or IB/IGCSE curricula
