Online Teaching Assistant (Remote) – 0–1 Years | Oman

A work-from-home online tutoring opportunity for people living in Oman. Suitable for candidates with up to one year of experience, including internships, freelance work or part-time roles. The team communicates asynchronously most of the day, with one short live catch-up to unblock work.

• Follow safeguarding and communication guidelines
• Maintain punctual attendance for every booked session
• Recommend extra practice resources
• Set short exercises and give constructive feedback
• Record attendance and session notes
• Deliver one-to-one and small group lessons over video
• Adjust pace when a student struggles with a concept

• Clear speaking voice and patient teaching style
• Quiet space, webcam and stable internet
• Strong subject knowledge in your chosen area
• Comfortable using Zoom, Google Meet or Teams

• Familiarity with GCC or IB/IGCSE curricula
• Bilingual Arabic and English delivery
• Teaching or tutoring experience, including volunteering

• Certificate of completion for internship graduates
• Career progression into a mid-level role

• Equipment stipend for laptop or headset

You will finish this role with practical, transferable experience and references you can use.

You must be legally resident in Oman to apply. The indicative range for this role is 150–400 OMR per month, confirmed at offer stage based on experience.
