Job summary

About the role

A work-from-home online tutoring opportunity for people living in Oman (candidates near Muscat preferred). Ideal for candidates with roughly one to two years of hands-on experience who are ready for more responsibility. Expect a predictable weekly rhythm: focused task blocks, a short team sync and a simple end-of-week summary.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain punctual attendance for every booked session
  • Prepare lesson material suited to each learner's level
  • Track learner progress and share simple reports with parents
  • Follow safeguarding and communication guidelines
  • Record attendance and session notes
  • Recommend extra practice resources
  • Deliver one-to-one and small group lessons over video

Requirements

  • Quiet space, webcam and stable internet
  • Clear speaking voice and patient teaching style
  • Comfortable using Zoom, Google Meet or Teams
  • Strong subject knowledge in your chosen area

Preferred skills

  • Experience with digital whiteboards
  • Familiarity with GCC or IB/IGCSE curricula
  • Bilingual Arabic and English delivery
  • Teaching or tutoring experience, including volunteering
