Job summary

About the role

We are hiring for a remote online tutoring position based in Oman (candidates near Muscat preferred). A junior-level position for someone who has covered the basics and now wants to build depth and ownership. You will be given written processes, short training sessions and a direct point of contact for questions.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver one-to-one and small group lessons over video
  • Recommend extra practice resources
  • Adjust pace when a student struggles with a concept
  • Record attendance and session notes
  • Follow safeguarding and communication guidelines

Requirements

  • Quiet space, webcam and stable internet
  • Strong subject knowledge in your chosen area
  • Clear speaking voice and patient teaching style
  • Comfortable using Zoom, Google Meet or Teams

Preferred skills

  • Experience with digital whiteboards
  • Familiarity with GCC or IB/IGCSE curricula
  • Bilingual Arabic and English delivery
  • Teaching or tutoring experience, including volunteering

Eligibility

You must be legally resident in Oman to apply. The indicative range for this role is 400–900 OMR per month, confirmed at offer stage based on experience.
