Job summary

About the role

This remote online tutoring vacancy is open to candidates in Oman (candidates near Sohar preferred). This is a structured internship designed to give students and recent graduates supervised, hands-on experience. The team communicates asynchronously most of the day, with one short live catch-up to unblock work.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver one-to-one and small group lessons over video
  • Set short exercises and give constructive feedback
  • Maintain punctual attendance for every booked session
  • Follow safeguarding and communication guidelines
  • Prepare lesson material suited to each learner's level
  • Adjust pace when a student struggles with a concept

Requirements

  • Comfortable using Zoom, Google Meet or Teams
  • Strong subject knowledge in your chosen area
  • Quiet space, webcam and stable internet
  • Clear speaking voice and patient teaching style
  • Currently studying or graduated within the last two years

Preferred skills

  • Experience with digital whiteboards
  • Bilingual Arabic and English delivery
  • Familiarity with GCC or IB/IGCSE curricula
  • Teaching or tutoring experience, including volunteering

Eligibility
