About the role

This remote customer service vacancy is open to candidates in Oman (candidates near Salalah preferred). A junior-level position for someone who has covered the basics and now wants to build depth and ownership. The team communicates asynchronously most of the day, with one short live catch-up to unblock work.

Responsibilities

  • Follow up on open cases until the customer confirms the issue is resolved
  • Update help-centre answers when you spot outdated information
  • Keep a friendly, professional tone with frustrated customers
  • Verify customer identity before making any account changes
  • Meet daily targets for resolved conversations and satisfaction scores
  • Escalate technical or billing problems to the right internal team
  • Answer customer questions over chat, email and phone within agreed response times

Requirements

  • Willingness to learn product details during paid training
  • Ability to handle several conversations at once
  • Basic computer literacy and fast typing
  • Stable internet and a quiet place to take calls

Preferred skills

  • Retail, hospitality or call-centre background
  • Experience with Zendesk, Freshdesk or similar tools
  • Familiarity with CSAT and first-response metrics
  • Exposure to e-commerce order systems
