Job summary

About the role

A work-from-home it support opportunity for people living in Bahrain (candidates near Isa Town preferred). Suitable for candidates with up to one year of experience, including internships, freelance work or part-time roles. Day to day you will work inside a small, supportive team with clear priorities and weekly check-ins.

Responsibilities

  • Escalate complex incidents to second-line engineers with full context
  • Respond to first-line IT tickets and log every step taken
  • Support new-joiner account creation and device setup
  • Keep users informed about progress on their request
  • Troubleshoot common software, printing and connectivity problems
  • Monitor ticket queues so nothing breaches response targets

Requirements

  • Clear written English
  • Interest in a technical support career
  • Patience explaining technical steps in plain language
  • Reliable internet and a capable computer
  • Solid understanding of Windows and common office software

Preferred skills

  • Experience with a ticketing tool such as Jira or Freshservice
  • CompTIA A+, ITIL Foundation or similar study
  • Basic networking knowledge
