Job summary

About the role

This remote it support vacancy is open to candidates in United Arab Emirates (candidates near Sharjah preferred). A junior-level position for someone who has covered the basics and now wants to build depth and ownership. Day to day you will work inside a small, supportive team with clear priorities and weekly check-ins.

Responsibilities

  • Test fixes before closing a ticket
  • Respond to first-line IT tickets and log every step taken
  • Troubleshoot common software, printing and connectivity problems
  • Guide users through password resets, access issues and basic setup
  • Keep users informed about progress on their request
  • Maintain asset and licence records
  • Monitor ticket queues so nothing breaches response targets

Requirements

  • Reliable internet and a capable computer
  • Solid understanding of Windows and common office software
  • Clear written English
  • Interest in a technical support career
  • Patience explaining technical steps in plain language

Preferred skills

  • Experience with a ticketing tool such as Jira or Freshservice
  • CompTIA A+, ITIL Foundation or similar study
  • Arabic language support
