Job summary

About the role

We are hiring for a remote human resources position based in Oman (candidates near Nizwa preferred). Suitable for candidates with up to one year of experience, including internships, freelance work or part-time roles. The team communicates asynchronously most of the day, with one short live catch-up to unblock work.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with simple engagement surveys and reports
  • Maintain accurate employee records and digital files
  • Support new-joiner orientation sessions online
  • Keep recruitment trackers updated daily
  • Answer routine employee questions about policies and leave
  • Track probation and document expiry dates

Requirements

  • Interest in building a career in HR
  • Comfortable with spreadsheets and shared drives
  • Discretion and respect for confidential data
  • Organised documentation habits
  • Clear written English

Preferred skills

  • Knowledge of GCC labour basics
  • HR diploma or business degree
  • Arabic communication
  • Exposure to an HRIS or ATS
