About the role

This remote customer service vacancy is open to candidates in Oman (candidates near Muscat preferred). A junior-level position for someone who has covered the basics and now wants to build depth and ownership. Responsibilities

  • Verify customer identity before making any account changes
  • Follow up on open cases until the customer confirms the issue is resolved
  • Escalate technical or billing problems to the right internal team
  • Keep a friendly, professional tone with frustrated customers
  • Update help-centre answers when you spot outdated information
  • Meet daily targets for resolved conversations and satisfaction scores
  • Answer customer questions over chat, email and phone within agreed response times

Requirements

  • Clear written and spoken English
  • Calm, patient communication style
  • Comfortable working set shift hours from home
  • Ability to handle several conversations at once

Preferred skills

  • Experience with Zendesk, Freshdesk or similar tools
  • Conversational Arabic
  • Exposure to e-commerce order systems
  • Retail, hospitality or call-centre background
