Job summary

About the role

This is a fully remote it support role you can do from home in Oman (candidates near Muscat preferred). This is a structured internship designed to give students and recent graduates supervised, hands-on experience. Day to day you will work inside a small, supportive team with clear priorities and weekly check-ins.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot common software, printing and connectivity problems
  • Write short how-to guides for recurring issues
  • Maintain asset and licence records
  • Escalate complex incidents to second-line engineers with full context
  • Test fixes before closing a ticket
  • Support new-joiner account creation and device setup

Requirements

  • Patience explaining technical steps in plain language
  • Solid understanding of Windows and common office software
  • Interest in a technical support career
  • Clear written English
  • Reliable internet and a capable computer
  • Currently studying or graduated within the last two years

Preferred skills

  • Experience with a ticketing tool such as Jira or Freshservice
  • Arabic language support
  • CompTIA A+, ITIL Foundation or similar study
  • Basic networking knowledge
