About the role

A work-from-home it support opportunity for people living in Oman (candidates near Nizwa preferred). A junior-level position for someone who has covered the basics and now wants to build depth and ownership. The team communicates asynchronously most of the day, with one short live catch-up to unblock work.

Responsibilities

  • Support new-joiner account creation and device setup
  • Monitor ticket queues so nothing breaches response targets
  • Keep users informed about progress on their request
  • Test fixes before closing a ticket
  • Escalate complex incidents to second-line engineers with full context

Requirements

  • Patience explaining technical steps in plain language
  • Interest in a technical support career
  • Solid understanding of Windows and common office software
  • Clear written English

Preferred skills

  • Arabic language support
  • Experience with a ticketing tool such as Jira or Freshservice
  • CompTIA A+, ITIL Foundation or similar study
